First UK edition in scorched jacket. Crimson cloth with turquoise and gilt lettering and detail to spine in very good plus condition; just slightly bumped to corners; very slight signs of shelf wear along the upper edges; text block edge a little speckled. Endpapers and contents clean, fresh and unmarked. A sound and square copy. Original unclipped jacket designed by Kenneth Farnhill near good with brown discolouration, likely a burn mark to an 8cm x 2cm section of the upper panel. 311 pp. Ken Kesey’s counter cultural masterpiece.
