In good condition in a contemporary binding of half calf over marbled boards. Sturdy 6 panelled spine titled in gilt over red ground and numbered Volume 6; scuffing to lower and upper boards. Endpapers clean. A shelf label to front pastedown and a stamp to free endpaper reveal previous ownership by the Library Museum of Practical Geology. Contains 12 issues from January 1863 - December 1863. Text block age toned as expected; 24 b/w plates in good condition throughout including frontispiece and multiple woodcut illustrations. A feint aroma of smoke noted. 488 pp.
