Play quarto by Beaumont and Fletcher from the early 18th century, taken from the collection of the financier and book collector, Sir Isaac Lyon Goldsmid (1778-1859) and rebound by 'T Connolly' of Dublin. pp75 [1], collated and complete as per the English Short Title Catalogue. Bound in half vellum over marbled boards with black Morocco label, last quarter of the 19th century, binder's ticket of 'T Connolly, 10 Up. Ormond Quay, Dublin'. In very good condition, some pages browned and trimmed unevenly. A small sticky patch joins part of pages 30 and 31 together, the final leaf is chipped at the gutter. There are no marks or inscriptions. This play from an extensive Irish collection was probably written by John Fletcher alone.
