In very good condition, 16 mo, in very appealing tree calf binding modestly worn to corners. Beautifully decorated in gilt to spine panel which is a little chipped to the top. Endpapers and flyleaves clean and unmarked, very lightly spotted. Full page frontispiece and illustrated title page a little water stained to fore edges and spotted. With ‘Memoirs of the late Dr Edward Young’ included pp. i -xi. Text block entirely sound throughout; occasional discreet red pen markings made by previous owner to earlier leaves. 312 pp. Printed by Plummer and Brown Printers, Love Lane. A very pleasing copy.
