The Thirtieth Edition with 5 new copper plate cuts. Rebound in a later addition half calf over dark cloth boards in good and very sound condition. A little frayed and chipped to top and tail of 6 panelled spine. A little bumped to corners. A previous ownership signature to front free endpaper in a contemporary hand reads ‘Mo Holroyd’. Age toned throughout as expected. Very small nick to bottom corner of plate 1 not affecting the image. Small loss to bottom corner of Part 3, pp. 63 not affecting text. Both noted on collation. Text block is entirely sound and unmarked throughout. In three parts including preface/foreword to each chapter. Part 1, pp. 1- 108 including 3 copper plates. Part 2, pp. 1 - 100 including 2 copper plates. Part 3, pp. 1 -63. Followed by The Life and Death of Mr John Bunyan, pp. 1 - 16. All collated and complete. A very pleasing volume.
