A 1920 edition of this scarce work which takes the form of a powerful memoir written by Aurora Mardiganian,a survivor of the Armenian genocide which was instigated by Turkish nationalists during the First World War. This book is a result of her friendship with Harvey Gates, a young screenwriter in New York city to where she fled, and who helped her write and publish this memoir of her experiences.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Without original dust wrapper. Blue cloth boards in sound condition, sunned to top edge and spine, slight edge wear, a little stained. Fry’s Breakfast Cocoa emblem embossed to rear. Advertisements to front and rear endpapers in very good condition. Leaves age toned throughout, otherwise a clean, very sound and unmarked copy. 29th impression dated Dec 1920. 219 pp.
