Small vignette to half title page. b/w plate depicting ‘The Artist’s Wife’ by A van Dyck to frontispiece. Attractive decorative title page. Fully illustrated containing original 10 b/w vignettes and 9 full page drawings of musical instruments. Decorative chapter head and tail pieces. Text block edges and leaves a little spotted throughout. Full page illustrations remain clean and in very good condition as noted on collation.
