A New Map of the County of Cumberland. Divided into Wards.

Second edition, 1808. In good condition, attractive, hand coloured, very detailed map of Cumberland in its original slip case. Published as a loose sheet map segmented and pasted on folding linen in twelve sections measuring 47 cm by 52 cm.  All panels sound and intact, a little age toned. Visually the print is clear and clean. Original colour still vibrant. Some spotting to reverse and darkening to folds.

Contemporary paper bound, green card slip case in fair condition, holding shape, faded, a little soiled and discoloured predominantly to edges. Pink ownership label reading John Mount sits above label in black font over white ground reading CUMBERLAND.
