Calf binding in good condition, darkened and rubbed to edges, slightly nicked and spotted. Spine in six compartments, chipped and bruised. Front board is starting at the top of the spine. Text edges browned, a little puckered to bottom edge. 20.5cm x 12.5cm.

Front and rear endpapers yellowed and browned to edges. ‘5A95’ written in black ink to top corner of front loose endpaper. An ownership mark reading ‘J.G. 1784’ on front first flyleaf. Front endpapers attached though somewhat shaken from spine, showing internal workings of binding. Rear endpapers clean and sound. Text block otherwise in good condition, internal leaves a little browned to edges and sides. 148pp. collated and complete. Text includes a dedication to Sir William Robinson of Newby, Member of Parliament and Robert Fairfax Esq, Alderman of the City of York written by FH. [F Hilyard]. Marks of Arms depicted throughout.
