Original brown sheepskin covered boards in fair condition showing surface abrasion and wear with leather spine worn away. Corners bruised and nicked. 14 cm x 8.5 cm. Text block edges in good condition showing some browning.

108 pp. collated and complete with a preface by the author. Endpapers soiled, sound and attached although split and loosened from spine. Leaves browned with some spotting and browning to edges. ‘John Hodgson’ inscribed twice in pencil. Small tear to bottom of p.60 and 61.

An additional 12 pages following the almanac dated 1816 provide a description of Improved Elementary School Books available from the same publisher. A small remembrance card for Rebecca Allerton who died 5th January 1879 in Bagley is inlaid.
