Printed card wrappers, black cloth spine, fraying somewhat. A very detailed index of contents is followed by the 148 page text, reproduced from manuscript. Arthur Sykes (1862-1940) was the architect. A book that chronicles the relentless cycle of creation and destruction in a great city.
