First edition of Slim Aaron’s photographic study of the ‘life of America’s elite from coast to coast’. Crisp navy blue cloth with gilt lettering, small mark to endpaper, no inscriptions, slight spotting to half title otherwise near fine. In a good jacket, lightly nicked to edges, a closed tear running down from the top of the spine fold with the front panel about 8 cm, closed to the reverse with tape. Tiny semi-circular tear to lower panel of jacket close to bottom corner, about 3mm across. A very presentable copy of this landmark work with its remarkable illustrations.
