pp 224 The 5th edition of Enfield's book of eloquent prayers for use in the home. In a pretty, contemporary binding of half red calf with gilt decoration over marbled boards. Very good, boards and leather rubbed to corners, light spotting throughout, ownership inscription of Mary Gaskell, April 15th 1807. There is a later inscription in pencil on page 173. William Enfield was a British Unitarian minister best known for his book on elocution entitled The Speaker.
