Capacious and informative illustrated guide to British hotels, working outwards from London to the province and including 'Boarding Establishments, Hydropathic Establishments, Restaurants and Continental Hotels.' Blue textured cloth binding with black and gilt decoration, yellow illustrated endpapers for 'Genuine Native Oysters' from Burnham on Crouch and Waygood Lifts. The guide is illustrated throughout with steel engravings, occasional additional inserts and full page half-tone photographs. A scarce survival.
