viii pp220. The memoirs of author and musician Edmund H Fellowes who was widely known for his part is the revival of English music of the Tudor period. Very good in red cloth with gilt spine lettering, the pages are clean and crisp in a tight and square binding. In a good plus dust jacket, chipped to the spine ends and corners with a tear along the edge of the front flap. Ownership inscription of Gordon Paget, Hedenham Rectory, Norfolk, who was Honorary Secretary of the Norwich Church Music Society. Laid in: friendly correspondence [4ALS]and 4 postcards from E H Fellowes to Paget thanking him for the enclosed signed pamphlet 'Edmund H Fellowes Author and Musicologist', by Dr H C Colles, Oxford University Press 1943. Also letters from the Bishop of Thetford and H Palgrave Raven. An interesting volume with good associations.
