pp376 A small (11x14cm) magazine of a moral and religious theme bound in publisher's red cloth with gilt titles and embossed and gilt decoration. Ownership inscriptions of J B Boston of Scorton and Miss Laura Earle of Catterick to the yellow end papers. The book is undated but there is an attractive engraved frontispiece of the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park and five articles within the book giving a full and glowing description of the Great Exhibition. Near very good, covers stained, small splits to the cloth at the spine, corners worn, binding starting to crack, the pages are clean apart from occasional pencil annotations. An interesting and scarce volume.
