(22x17cm) Large format vintage photograph showing Laurence Olivier in full armour playing Henry V in the 1944 film. This is a matt finish stamped proof 'Ref LO/49' and was owned by Olivier himself, probably dating from the 1970s. From youthful success Olivier went on to become the preeminent actor of his generation, defining the great Shakespearean roles of Hamlet and Henry V for mid-century Britain.
