pp244 A history of the clock makers of the town of Northallerton in Yorkshire by a descendant of Hugh and Joshua Pannell. The volume also discusses the work of 3 other clock making families ie Hepton, Tessyman and Cade. The book has been rebound in a smart binding of green leather over green boards with gilt spine lettering. The binding is near fine, the cloth is clean but the spine is sunned. The text is fine. A limited edition, number 159/300, signed by the author. This book comes from the collection of Yorkshire bookbinder and bibliophile Martin E Thorpe.
