A Restoration era play quarto from a collection compiled by the financier and book collector, Sir Isaac Lyon Goldsmid (1778-1859) and rebound by 'T Connolly' of Dublin. [10] pp62, collated, no half title or advert leaf. Bound in half vellum over marbled boards with black Morocco label, last quarter of the 19th century, binder's ticket of 'T Connolly, 10 Up. Ormond Quay, Dublin'. In very good condition, the soft paper is browned and several pages have fine tears, perhaps from the sewing holes. The title page has been trimmed with some loss of imprint, a neat inscription adds "Accomplished Fools" and "Elizabeth" is written in a more childish hand; similar penmanship to page 24.
