Original Archive of Cover-art Photography: The Dumas Club, The Flanders Panel, The Seville Communion

2 silver gelatin photos (20x26cm) by Marc Atkins and eight cover-art proofs for Atkins' designs for the second paperback edition of Arturo Perez-Reverte's novels published by The Harvill Press. The first photograph shows the books provided by the bookseller Sotherans for the cover of the paperback edition of The Dumas Club with Atkins' signature on the verso; the second photograph shows the chess pieces used on the Flanders Panel with Atkins' studio stamp and signature on the verso. Additionally there are card proof covers for The Dumas Club (2), The Flanders Panel (3), The Seville Communion (1) and The Fencing Master (1) Atkins took the photographs used for these cover designs and half-titles.
