The Golden Virgin; It was the Nightingale; Lucifer Before Sunrise; Young Phillip Addison; How Dear is Life; Solitary War; The Innocent Moon; the Phoenix Generation; A Fox Under my Cloak; Donkey Boy; The Power of the Dead; The Gale of the World; A Test to Destruction; Love and the Loveless; The Dark Lantern [all from] The Chronicles of Ancient Sunlight

A bright very nearly fine set of Henry Williamson's magnificent Great War drama, A Chronicle of Ancient Sunlight; all 15 first editions are jacketed and unclipped. Publisher’s cloth clean and fresh throughout; no marks of ownership; text blocks unmarked; a little foxing to occasional preliminaries and the text block edges of 8 out of the 15; bindings square and sound. Overall a fabulous looking set. Old receipt laid in suggesting this set was previously sold by Blackwells Rare Books.
