An uncommon limited edition periodical from the British Arts and Crafts movement. In very good condition. Illustrated wrappers nicked to edges and spine revealing binding beneath which remains sound; limited edition statement to front free endpaper confirms ‘This edition is limited to 300 copies, of which this is number 163’.

Hand printed on fine laid paper by the Birmingham Guild of Handicraft Press; medieval woodcut designs to cover, frontispiece and throughout featuring decorative work from major artists of the Birmingham School of Art including Charles March Gere, Edmund Hort New and Sidney Harold Meteyard; decorative head and tail pieces; advertisements to rear featuring Cornish Brothers announcements, services from the Birmingham Guild of Handicraft and Reeves and Sons Ltd black ink. 46pp, vi. Clean and unmarked throughout with just a hint of age toning. A lovely copy of this very short lived periodical.
