Written by Oliver Omerod under the pseudonym O Felley Fro Rachde. Printed by Wrigley and Son, Rochdale. Published by Hamilton Adams & Co. London, Abel Heywood and Kelly and Slater, Manchester, G. Philip, Liverpool. Title page illustration by Frederick James Shields. Written in a Lancashire dialect. 87pp.

2. Tom Treddlehoyle’s Peep at T’Manchester Art Treasures Exhibition, E 1857; un Uther Wunderful Things Beside, at Cum in Hiz Way I’ T’City A Manchister. Rare 1857 First Edition. Written by Charles Rogers. Published by T.W. Grattan, London. Printed and sold in Leeds by Alice Mann and A & J Heywood in Manchester. 36pp. Written in a Yorkshire dialect. OCLC record only 2 other copies in University of York and Leeds Council.

3. Tom Treddlehoyle’s Thowts, Joakes, An Smiles For Midsummer Day. Uncommon 1845 First Edition. Written by Charles Rogers. Published by William Strange, London and printed by Alice Mann, Leeds. 48pp. Original colour title page bound in as final leaf. Parodies the massive anti corn law league bazaar of May 1845.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Bound in later very good blue cloth boards, titled ‘XB SHUN’ in gilt over brown calf to spine. A very sound and square copy. Lower pastedown contains a previous bookseller’s printed description label.
