A fine, bright blue, soft backed catalogue which accompanied an exhibition of the works of William Tillyer at the Bernard Jacobson Gallery in London between 11th October and 30th November 2013. Accompanying the catalogue are six pristine colour plates presented within a matching blue sleeve which depict the cycle of six luminous landscape paintings in which the artist reimagined the pastoral tradition for a contemporary age.

Unmarked, crisp and fresh throughout. Each plate measures 19cm x 16.5cm. Laid in is a 2pp b/w gallery guide to an exhibition by William Tillyer at Mima in Middlesborough titled Against Nature dated 25 October 2013 - 9 February 2014.

William Tillyer was born in Middlesborough in 1938, was educated at Middlesborough College of Art and studied at The Slade School of Fine Art in London. His work can be found in the Tate, the V & A and New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
