In very good condition. Volume 3 containing 63 original issues numbered 121 - 184 of this weekly publication dating from August 6th 1834 until August 26th 1835. Quarter bound in marbled boards over brown calf. 5 panelled spine titled ‘3’ in gilt. Edges and corners shelf worn as expected, spine nicked in parts. Text block entirely sound. Endpapers age toned, a little spotted. Very slight water damage in bottom corner to preliminary 5 leaves not affecting legibility of the text. Contents page followed by 4 pp. supplement titled ‘The Life of Sir Walter Scott, Bart’. Each issue illustrated with large eye catching vignette to title page and occasional additional vignettes throughout. Containing stories, anecdotes, poetry, natural history, correspondents and advertisements. 512 pp. collated and complete. Printed by Mills and Son, London.
