Todmorden Botanical Society was formed in 1852 and this catalogue opens with a list of the names of officers for 1867 including the President, Mr. Abraham Stansfield Senr, and Vice President Mr. John Nowell. Included is a list of the society’s rules as decreed at its formation in 1852, a list of current members and an extensive catalogue of the c.500 library books and maps in its possession.

Small booklet with paper wrappers, printed to front in black ink. Frayed and nicked to corners and edges, age worn. Spine panel torn, particularly to top, revealing inner binding although still intact. Internally 22 pp. collated and complete in good condition. Text clean and unmarked throughout. Printed by W Waddington, Todmorden. Measures 22cm x 13cm.
