PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

1920 Large Type Fine Paper Edition. Dark green cloth covered boards, titled, blind ruled and embossed to front in good condition, a little bumped to corners. Brown cloth spine lettered in gilt incorporating embossed decoration, head and bottom chipped. End papers age toned, very minimal water damage to rear paste down. ‘Peggy Vail’ signed in pencil to front free end paper. Half title page verso lists The Novels of Ivan Turgenev and has been hand annotated with small crosses, no doubt referring to volumes read and to read. Text block clean and sound throughout. 325 pp
