DESCRIPTION: Printed card wrapper, stapled to spine. Age toned, a very slight vertical crease running from top to bottom alongside front fore edge, otherwise in very good condition. A child’s hand written name on rear reads ‘Jake’. Internally endboards and all leaves are clean and unmarked. 17 charming, bold and bright full-page illustrations accompany 16 leaves of written text. The remnants of perhaps a peeled off sticker approx. 1.5 cm in diameter sit to lower half of title page not obscuring any text. To top of title page is a rare example of the author’s signature in black handwriting, ‘To Toby, Roger Hargreaves.’ 17 pp complete.
