Chiefs of Clan Donnachaidh 1276 - 1749

An account of an address given to the Gaelic Society of Perth on October 18th 1928 on the history of the Chiefs of Clan Donnachaidh. Bound in pebbled dark blue cloth in good condition with some darkening and moderate staining to edges and spine. 79 pp. collated and complete.Ownership details written on front loose endpaper allude to the book’s ownership in the 40’s and 50’s linking the book to Aberdeen, Darlington, Edinburgh and the family name Robertson, notably Eva Lunar Cox, nee Robertson and Clifford Robertson Cox. Two pages of b/w and colour illustrations include those of armorial bearings, badges and charm stones. Two colour, fold out maps of the Battle of Bannockburn in excellent condition are found to the rear.
