The second volume of the Artist’s Repository (1786) bound with a section of the Miscellanies (1790).

Contemporary reversed calf binding, cracking along outer hinges but the binding remains sound. New endpapers followed by: sepia general title page with vignette, viii, letter press title page, pp 132 (Miscellanies) pp89-184. 10 sepia plates are bound into the Repository and a further 11 into the Miscellanies. Browning and fingermarking throughout the text with occasional small dogears.

This influential treatise on art instruction and appreciation has certainly seen use but remains in overall good condition.
