A Father’s Legacy to His Daughters

Taken from John and Sylvia Cunliffe’s library, bound in quarter blue publisher’s cloth and laid over marbled paper with gilt lettering to spine. Binding in very good condition with rubbing to spine. Small brown square markings to end papers. Browning to several pages of text. Speckled edge stain. A number of black and white illustrations throughout. Cunliffe (1933-2018) is best remembered as the creator of Postman Pat. His ownership plate is located on the upper pastedown where Cunliffe has written his wife’s name and his own name in pen.
