A Restoration era play quarto from a collection compiled by the financier and book collector, Sir Isaac Lyon Goldsmid (1778-1859) and rebound by 'T Connolly' of Dublin. [8] pp79, collated and complete as per the English Short Title Catalogue. Bound in half vellum over marbled boards with black Morocco label with gilt lettering, last quarter of the 19th century, binder's ticket of 'T Connolly, 10 Up. Ormond Quay, Dublin'. In very good condition, some red pen markings to the margins of the text, the numbers 11 and a tick inscribed to the title page, page number 88 added to the Epilogue along with the date 1656. An attractive copy from an extensive Irish collection of quarto plays.
