Selected Poems New Edition

In very good condition, a revised paperback second edition inscribed by the author. Softcovers clean and unmarked with blank price sticker to lower. Text block lightly age toned, clean and unmarked throughout. Inscribed to title page in black ink, ‘for Alistair from Jon Silkin with good wishes 23.2.1995’. Laid in is a handwritten, signed notelet written by the author on the same date thanking Alistair for ‘the photocopy’...’a serious piece but I must live with it a while’.

From the collection of a retired University of Leeds academic of English.

A lovely inscribed copy which draws on nine volumes of poetry by one of Britain’s foremost poets.
